01Scope of this policy
This Candidate Privacy Policy applies when you apply for a job, internship, contract or other work opportunity with FarmCart or AgriFi Innovations Limited. It does not replace the FarmCart Privacy Policy, which applies when you use the marketplace as a buyer or seller.
02Information we collect
We may collect information you provide during an application, including your name, email address, phone number, location, CV or résumé, work history, education, portfolio, interview notes, references and other information relevant to assessing your application. We may also collect limited information from references where you authorise us to contact them.
03How we use candidate information
We use candidate information to assess applications, communicate with you, arrange interviews, check references where appropriate, maintain recruitment records, improve our hiring process and meet applicable legal obligations. We do not use recruitment information for marketplace advertising.
04Who may receive information
Access is limited to people involved in the recruitment process and service providers who help us operate our systems. We may disclose information where required by law or where necessary to protect the rights, safety or security of people and systems.
05Retention
We retain candidate information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the recruitment process, record keeping, legal obligations, dispute resolution or future opportunities where appropriate. We may delete, anonymise or securely archive information when it is no longer needed.
06Your rights and contact
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, or ask about how it is being used. Contact hello@farmcart.com with the subject “Candidate privacy”. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
07Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our recruitment practices or legal requirements change. The current version will be published on this page with an updated date.
